Produced by a family owned and run independent company at the forefront of the Cahors renaissance. They own two Chateaux Cahors: Chateau Mercues and Chateau Haute-Serre and Chateau Tournelles in Buzet. A pioneer in Agro-Tourism with their Hotel and two restaurants that put an emphasis on local produce notably dishes based around ruffles, Quercy Lamb and Saffron. This wine shows a limpid colour and offers aromas of raspberries and redcurrants. On the palate, red fruits notes are balanced with an eucalyptus freshness. On the whole it is fruit driven wine full of pleasure.
